My Story
By Dr. Tebogo Mashishi
My journey into medicine began with a simple yet powerful desire: to make a difference in people's lives. From a young age, I was drawn to the healing profession, inspired by the resilience of individuals and the transformative power of compassionate care in restoring hope. After earning my MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) degree, fully immersed myself the healthcare system, working in both public and private hospitals. These experiences opened my eyes to the challenges and opportunities that exist within our healthcare landscape. I witnessed gaps where people needed more compassion, accessibility, and personalized care. Driven to enhance my impact, I pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and am currently completing my MBA in Healthcare Management. This blend of clinical expertise and business acumen has empowered me to re-imagine healthcare not just as a service, but as a purpose-driven journey. Simplex Medical Centre embodies this vision.
